The modules included consist of Payroll Generation, Reports, Files, Closing, and Utilities. Tax tables are included for Federal and all 50 states. Other features include automatic interface into Painless Accounting, on-line help, password protection, W2 and 1099 form printing, child support capabilities, and more. Over 1 meg of hard disk space is required. Personal Invoicer Commercial Video Services $39 #3687 is an Excel for Windows invoicing program geared toward consultants, small businesses, and freelancers. Features include sequentially numbered invoices and menu/hotkey operation. It also saves/reuses client data, keeps an invoice database, reports on aging accounts/client activity, automatically calculates applicable sales tax, and prints envelopes. There are a maximum of ten invoices allowed at a time. Excel 3.0+ is required. Automotive A/R for Windows 1.3 Thom, Len $40 #3955 is an accounts receivable, inventory and invoicing system for a small automotive parts or service business. The program can handle up to 2000 account customers and 5000 part numbers. ================= GENERAL BUSINESS: ================= AObase for Windows 1.0 Alpha Omega Systems and Software $40 #20130 acts as a dBaseIII+ database server to other Windows programs that support Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE). It allows your Windows programs to send commands to the database server, request information, load and unload files, and much more, allowing you to easily and powerfully integrate your data into other programs such as WFW. This is available on 3.5 1.44mb only. (This disk also contains VBRUN200.DLL.) BClipper Network Designers, Inc. $20 #4035 is a data browser for Windows. It reads dBase III using Clipper (NTX) indexes. Up to 10 indexes can be open simultaneously. Multiple instances of the program can be invoked. Other features include Seek and Filter commands, resizable data windows, network support, hotkey support, and more. BDbase3 1.0 (Disk #4036) is a similar utility which uses dBase (NDX) indexes. Business Plan Master for Windows 2.1a Grand Universal ASP $38-$70 #4909 provides a structured framework for developing your own professional business plan. Templates are provided in ASCII and WFW 2.0 format that can be easily modified to suit your specific needs. Excel spreadsheet templates are also provide to help generate financial reports and analyses. Chartist 1.03 Novagraph ASP $73 #4205 is a comprehensive flow charting and organization charting program for Windows. It features full color and TrueType font support, multiple symbol and border styles, and automatic routing of lines in multiple styles. It also supports hypertext references to other documents, import of bitmap graphics into symbols, and export of data to other Windows applications. Decision/pro Johnson, Alan $40 #4363 compares choices against specified criteria and displays which is the best alternative. Items to be compared are displayed along the top of the window, and the criteria, down the left, spreadsheet style. EZ FormMaster EZX Publishing $189 #3868 allows you to easily design and/or modify business forms in Windows. Logos, signatures and other scanned images can be included in the forms, and support is provided for TIFF, PCX, MSP, IMG and PIC graphic file formats. Data types include text, numeric, and formula, with four-function math for use in spreadsheet style formula calculations. Desktop Publishing features include sketch, sizing, and moving of graphics objects. Sixteen background fill patterns are available. Other features include cut and paste template attributes from one form to another, dBase III Plus and ASCII data file format support and much more. Forms may be printed on a dot matrix, laser, or Postscript printer. On-screen filling in of forms is not supported in this version. InContact! 1.2 Serious Shareware $24-$64 #20053 is a complete contact manager for Windows. It allows you to track up to 6 phone numbers and up to 64K of notes per contact, along with 8 user-defined flag fields, and last call/call back. Other features include auto dialing, full DDE support, an activity log, label printing, customizable reports, the ability to attach files to any contact, form letter printing, support for pulse dialing, and much more. KBS: People Management System KBS Systems $129 #4369 manages information about groups of people and their interaction with your company. It features fields for Name, Company, Multi-Address, Multi-Phone, Comments, Multi-Events, user-defined People Categories, Mail Merge Export, Date and Time Stamp, and more. A Project/Event Planner 1.1 Sapphire Software, Inc. ASP $29 #12151 can be used for quick overall project planning, activity scheduling, and resource scheduling. You can easily assign income and costs to events and resources to estimate a project's income and cost. Features include defined events that are tied to predecessors, automatic start and end time for related events, and the ability to shift all events in a plan forward or backward in time. You can define multiple calendars and use different calendars for each resource, and the program allows free-form drawing of events on a scale of days, weeks, months, or years. On-line help and sample plans are included. Scheduling Employees for Windows 2.01 [SEW] 09-93 CD Guia International ASP $40 #12248 is designed to assist managers in scheduling weekly personnel resources. Up to 100 employees in up to 99 departments can be tracked. Time and wage distribution can be graphed for each hour in a 24 hour period. VBRUN200 is included on this disk. Sample files are included to help get you started. WinWorks Software Sharing Ministries $0 #7368/2905 [2 disks] is a set of applications for churches. It contains Cardfile databases of hymns, church-related BBS's, religious clipart in BMP format, church related forms for Write, and more. Work Status 2.2 [WSTATUS] 09-93 CD TARDIS DP Consultants $5/user over 5 users #20256 is an integrated business package that combines EMail, phone messages, and a network user directory/phone book. It also allows network users to keep track of each other's availability (At Lunch, In Meeting, Out, etc.). The designated receptionist can send fax alerts as well as electronic phone messages. This is an excellent way to increase office productivity by eliminating walking around to try to contact personnel. VBRUN300 is included on this disk. Available on 3.5" 1.44mb MegaDisk and CD only. X-Tab Personal Instruments, Inc. $25 #7803/4519 [2 disks] does cross-tabulations of databases in Excel spreadsheet files. It processes similar types of database information to make patterns in the data more evident. The results can be presented in both graphical and tabular formats. Excel 3.0+ is required. ===================== TIME/TASK MANAGEMENT: ===================== 2Do 1.10 [2DO] 09-93 CD Anderson, William P. ASP $30 #20194 is a comprehensive task tracking application that allows you to create, display, and manage a To Do list. Recurring tasks can be set up in a variety of ways (Annually, Every Wednesday, 1st and 15th of each Month, etc.), and five different priority levels are available. Features include warning alarms with multimedia sound file support, filters that allow you to view tasks with certain criteria, a command bar with quick access to often-used functions, and drag and drop file deletion. Finished tasks can be logically grouped into folders, and a Router function will automatically move finished tasks to specified folders. Other features include a contact list manager with autodial, detachable Calendar/Day Glance/Week Planner windows, and a wide variety of viewing and printing options. Available on 3.5" 1.44mb MegaDisk and CD only. Above & Beyond 2.1 1Soft ASP $149 #7111/1753 (formerly Active Life) is an advanced time management system for Windows. Features include full week- and month-at-a-glance calendars, pop-up time/event alarms, dynamic scheduling, support for recurring activities, an auto-dialer, task timer, and much more. Action Planner Human Development Systems $25 #7111/4297 is a powerful time management program that helps keep track of priority items and assists in scheduling your day. It features a To-Do list, daily task/goal lists, a appointment schedular, an on-going Diary/Journal, a reminder board for posting notes, an on-line tutorial, random motivational thoughts database, application launching facilities, and more. Requires VBRUN, mouse, hard disk, and EGA or better video. Almanac for Windows 3.0h Impact Software $50-$80 #7111/2514 [2 disks] is a powerful calendar and information utility Windows. It provides traditional calendar displays in month and year format as well as a pop-up desk set for day-to-day notes and schedules. Up to ten overlays may be specified in a configuration file. Other features include a To-Do list, support for recurring events, full-color calendar printing, .WAV sound file support for alarms, Christian and Jewish holiday overlays, and extensive on-line help. The program can also create a calendar bitmap and use it as your desktop wallpaper on command. You can optionally display the time, date, and/or day of the week when the program is minimized. Account Manager 1.2 08-93 CD Winnovation $25 #12238 is a flexible time/usage tracking program for Windows 3.1. It can track your time for multiple projects and accounts. You simply punch in when you begin a project, and punch out when you are finished. Several printed reports are available. A DOS command line interface is provided which allows you to punch in from DOS. The Achievement Planner 2.1 HDS $30 #12307 is a powerful Personal Information Manager for Windows. It combines a day planner, contact tracker, appointment scheduler, and project planner into one integrated package. Moving between modules is as easy as clicking a button. The Day Planner can function as your main desktop shell, allowing you to add your most-used tools and utilities to a launch menu. The Appointment calendar will automatically display events in the Day Planner, and features drag and drop functions to move events around. Other features include a post-it note function, calendar access from any module, an alarm clock, and a work diary. Requires VBRUN200 and VGA. Clock-IN! 1.2 [CLOCKIN1, CLOCKIN2] 09-93 CD Mission Critical Software $499 #20251 [2 MegaDisks] is a comprehensive time and attendance package for businesses. It provides an executive In/Out board, professional timeslips with integrated spreadsheets, and employee time and attendance charging. Other features include integral bar coding, 30 common charge databases, automatic E-Mail triggers with employee/productivity exceptions, picture and bar code ID card printing, Human Resource management, multimedia support, network compatibility, and much more. Requires WIN31 and a hard disk. This professionally done program is available on two 1.44mb MegaDisks for the special disk fee of $9.99. Dr. TimeClock 1.4 MossMan's Crazed Computer $30 #4959 keeps track of employee times and projects. It allows employees to password protect their time records. All time records can be printed, edited and deleted. Requires VBRUN200. Electronic Mom Welch, Matthew $10 #3973 is an appointment/event reminder. You can have from 1 to 31 days advance notice for each event. This is a very nicely done program, and could prove to be a lifesaver if you are prone to forgetting birthdays, anniversaries, tax deadlines - little stuff like that. VBRUN is required. Mini Calendar for Windows 1.1 Murrell, Tom $15 #12322 is a handy scheduling/calendar/clock package for Windows 3.1. Any type of free-form information about upcoming events can be entered directly into the calendar's two-week display. Up to 640 characters of text per day is allowed, and you can expand the date box to read additional text. Two different types of repeating alarms are available, complete with WAV sound file support. A schedule of events can be printed. Other features include a pop-up monthly calendar, full cut and paste support, search functions, and a unique graphic help system. VBRUN200 is included on this disk. PTask Sheridan Software Systems $0 #20002/4208 is a very attractive task management/menu program. It has options to Maximize/Minimize the currently selected task, Minimize all tasks, align icons, and compact memory. This freeware program was created to show off add-on's for Visual Basic programmers, but the result is an excellent, useful utility. Setting up applications on the menu is very easy, with a browse function, provisions for command line arguments, and various size/focus options. Other features include a quick DOS shell, and buttons for detailed task and system information. The 3-D controls of this application are very impressive. VBRUN is included with this package. Reminder for Windows 1.3D Wilson WindowWare ASP $60 #20002/3773 is a powerful time and task manager. It allows you to set up to-do lists for yourself and others to keep track of appointments, tasks, and important events. Alarms can be set to display a message or to run other programs. As an icon, the program can optionally display the date and time. Other features include a repeat option for daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and end-of-month, options to display the date in the icon, a display graph of scheduled times, and more. Personal Time Card 2.5 Fischer Grafix & Software ASP $21 #20031/4123 allows you to keep track of the time you spend on jobs in a daily or weekly format. It tracks overtime and weekend hours. Other features include time card printing, file back-up options, vacation time tracking, and more. VBRUN is included in this package. SVTimeClock 2.0 Soft Ventures $40 #20031/4378 keeps track of chargeable time while working in Windows. It tracks Start Time, Elapsed Time, Charge Time, and Billable Dollars. Client, Job, and Work information is stored in dBASE compatible files. Printed reports include Work Reports, Client lists, and Job lists. Other features include a pop-up "To-Do" list, the ability to handle non-$ currency, and more. This is very simple to set up and use. TaskTracker Seymour, Barry $30 #20031/3887 allows you to measure the time spent on tasks or with clients as you do the work. It remembers the elapsed time for each task you define, and has the ability to send your task information to other programs for formatting and printing. Other features include an auto-save function, extensive on-line help, project file merging, a command menu with access to other Windows programs, and much more. VBRUN is included on this disk. ThingsToDo 1.3 The Manager, Inc. ASP $35 #12044 allows you to track your calls, meetings, and other tasks. Extensive free-form notes, telephone numbers, dates and other important information can be assembled into a weekly on-screen list that can also be printed. Other features include comprehensive search capabilities, hotkey support, and more. VBRUN200 is included on this disk. Time & Chaos Professional 4.0 [TCHAOS] 09-93 CD iSBiSTER International, Inc. $29 #12173 is a powerful integrated appointment calendar, to-do list, and phonebook/dialer. The appointment calendar provides times from 6:00 am to midnight, a 70+ character description line, and numerous repeating options. The to-do portion lets you assign a variety of weights to activities, links to a telephone contact, and has an auto-dialer. The telephone book area includes information for both work and home, with several address lines for P.O. boxes, suite numbers, etc. Printed reports include phone book, address book, to-do list, and daily/ weekly/monthly calendars in two different sizes. Other useful features include free form note fields, a graphic timebar, a digital time display, yellow pages, and much more. This is a well-done package with many nice options. Requires WIN31 and VBRUN200. (*NOTE: After 20 days an annoying nag screen pops up every few minutes, but we feel that this still gives the user ample time to evaluate the functionality of the program.) Time and Billing for Windows 3.22 [TBWIN] 09-93 CD Leaning Birch Computer Consulting $65 #20118/4516 [2 disks] keeps track of time and expenses for businesses that charge hourly fees. It can print customized invoices, record payments, and produce Accounts Receivable lists. The project timer runs in the background, so you can work with other applications. Files can be exported in standard DBF format. Requires Win31 and VBRUN300. Watchdog 1.0d Cohen, Derek $25 #12268 provides a unique way to track your work at the computer. It will automatically build a database of programs, tasks, and documents you have been using along with how much time you have spent on them since they were started. The log is saved to disk, and can accumulate time spent on tasks with are run over a number of days or Windows sessions. VBRUN200 is included on this disk. WinMinder 1.1 Full Sail Software $4 #4885 will automatically keep you reminded of important events. You can create single, monthly, or annual reminders and you can specify the amount of notification given. A list of events may also be printed. VBRUN200 is included on this disk. Win, What, Where 1.02 [WWW102] 09-93 CD Basic Systems, Inc. ASP $37 #12416 is a powerful time and usage monitor for Windows 3.1. It will display when a program started and how long it ran, a list of activities by program name and window caption, and the location of the program and its associated files. Other features include detailed report generation, automatic history deletion after a user-specified time, daily summary information, and much more. Requires VBRUN200. ================= WORDS & GRAPHICS: ================= ---------------------------- 3346 Word for Windows Macros Small Programs Disk ---------------------------- Check Print 1.1 (CKPRINT) Guimond, Stephen C. $10 is a WFW 2.0 macro for printing standard 3-on-a-page business checks with the stub on the left. Requires an HP LaserJet II or compatible. Dinger 2.0 Pinecliffe International ASP $19 is a Word for Windows macro that gives fast access to the bullet, em-dash, section, copyright, arrow, and other common symbols, dingbats, and Foreign characters. Complete support is provided for inserting any character from any font into your documents. It can also print a complete character listing. Enveloper 3.2 (ENVLOPR) Pinecliffe International ASP $19 is a Word for Windows macro that prints envelopes on LaserJets, DeskJets, and compatibles. It features multiple return addresses, notes, and envelope sizes, and can extract and print postal bar codes on lasers. It can also grab addressee information automatically. Support is provided for hard fonts, permanent soft fonts, and cartridges. FontMaster (FNTMSTR) City Home Software and Consulting $0 is a WFW macro that will create a sample list of all printable fonts on your system. Gading 1.2 Gallo, Guy J. $0 is a Word for Windows macro that enables you to insert accented characters, symbols, and dingbat characters. Gallo Macros (GMACROS) Gallo, Guy J. $5/each is a group of Word for Windows macros. GLJMARK will print DRAFT or COPY diagonally across a page on an HPLJ-III compatible printer. PSMARK performs the same function for PostScript printers. GSHADE allows you to shade paragraphs in Word for Windows on an HP LaserJet. It shades the current page or paragraph with percentage of gray or with hatch patterns. It works with internal fonts, but has some trouble with ATM. GBORD prints a border around a page. GCD runs on start-up to display a list box of phrase descriptions pointing to a path, a multiple path, or a document. NewFax 2.0 Harkel, Robinson $15 is a WinWord2 macro for generating fax cover sheets and attaching documents to be faxed. Features include integration with Delrina's WinFax Pro, auto-calculation of number of pages, and more. (The author can no longer be reached at the address provided in the documentation.) NoteInsert and Highlight 1.1 (INNOTE) Sokolov, Stephen $5 contains macros for WFW 2.0 that let you highlight text and insert PostIt style notes. PrintRange (PR-RANG) Gallo, Guy J. $10 is a Word for Windows macro to print a range of page numbers (e.g. 1,4,6-8). It also prints either all Odd or all Even pages, with an option to reverse print order. SavAsIco 1.1 (SAVASIC) Reidelberger, Frank $0 is a macro that allows you to save your document as an icon in Program Manager by specifying a title and group. WindowCloseAll (WINCLOS) Goodman, Daniel $0 is a macro that closes all open Word for Windows files at the same time. You can open, insert, or print documents by pointing and clicking on descriptions. MakeHelp (MAKEHLP) Brown, Bud $0 is a WinWord template for creating help files for Windows. This template allows you to edit, compile, test and modify your help files from within WinWord. WordBasic macros, a toolbar, an example RTF file and a HLP file are included. This is useful for Windows programmers and for anyone who would like to create a hypertext document using the Windows Help system. (Several people are publishing electronic magazines this way.) Text Jumper 1.2 (TXTJUMP) 09-93 CD Total System Solutions $15 enables you to easily create hypertext-like documents in Word for Windows. This allows users to point and click a highlighted word to jump to any part of a document. Bulletin Maker 1.0 T.R. Software $50 #4903 allows you to easily create attractive church bulletins. VBRUN100 is included on this disk. DocuPower 1.5 [DWPR15] 09-93 CD Total System Solutions $25 #12139 is a powerful document management tool for WFW 2.x You can easily give documents long descriptive filenames. You can also organize often-used documents into folders and open/insert/print them by pointing and clicking on descriptions. dtSearch 2.0 for Windows DT Software, Inc. ASP $104 #20208 [2 disks] is a powerful text retrieval program. Ami Pro, WordPerfect WordStar, MS Word, MS Works, Multimate, RTF, and ASCII files are supported. It can perform indexed and unindexed searches, as well as wildcard, boolean, phrase, proximity, and segment searches. Other features include network support, international language support, application launching, and more. Requires Windows 3.1+. FAXModem Support System 2.3 Obeda, Ed $? #12140 is a WFW 2.x macro that allows you to easily switch between your printer and modem. From a single dialog box you can choose print only or fax only. Requires a Windows supported FAXmodem with appropriate software. FileWare 2.4 [FW24] 09-93 CD Total System Solutions, Inc. $40 #12000 is a set of thirteen file maintenance, document management, and program launching utilities for Microsoft Word for Windows 2.x. GraphCat 1.0 Science Translations ASP $10 #12142 contains macros that can create pictorial catalogs of clip art in WordPerfect All graphics formats readable by WP/WIN are supported, and can easily be set up in columns as a pictorial catalog. InfoRecall 3.30 [INFO33] 08-93 CD Curtram Inc. $50 #20069 [2 disks] lets you create an information database. The hypertext-like interface allows you to cross reference words to an index, double click on a word and jump to that index. Any type of free form information can be entered, so this could easily be used as a cookbook, phonebook (with dialer) dictionary, etc. VBRUN200 is included on this disk. Letterhead Kit for Windows 2.1 SciTrans ASP $10 #4995 is a macro package for WordPerfect for Windows 5.1/5.2. It can retrieve a letterhead form, and combine it with a fax cover sheet or an invoice. Also included are thirty graphical business messages to print on any document, such as "Confidential," or "Next Day Air." Letterhead Pro for Wordperfect for Windows CPI Software $35 #12144 contains 16 graphic sample letterheads, 6 logos, and 1 watermark for WordPerfect for Windows. A macro is included that quickly installs the letterhead into any WP document. Letterhead Pro for WFW CPI Software $35 #12242 contains 10 sample letterheads, 6 logos, and 1 watermark for Word for Windows. These should work on any Windows compatible printer, and an automated install program gets things up and running very quickly. Letterhead Pro for Ami Pro for Windows (#12243) contains 16 sample letterheads, 6 logos, and 1 watermark for Ami Pro. Letterhead Pro for WordStar for Windows [LPWSW] 09-93 CD CPI Software $35 #12488 contains seven templates, six logos, and a watermark for WordStar for Windows. QuikChar 1.0 NewVision $35 #4754 allows you to quickly and easily place any character from any font into a Word for Windows document. You configure the floating button bar with a desired symbol and simply click on the button to paste the character into your document. It can be installed as a WFW macro, or used as an external utility. This is a very handy tool and is much faster than using Windows Character Mapper. VBRUN is included on this disk. Rockford 3.0 08-93 CD OsoSoft $20 #4375 lets you quickly design professional-looking business cards. Features include a WYSIWYG design screen, horizontal and vertical card designs, four border types, availability of all installed Windows fonts, adjustable margin and border offsets, clipboard support, text alignment tools, BMP and PCX clip art support, on-screen layout grid, and much more. Support is provided for all Windows-compatible printers. Requires VBRUN200. Steve's GraphMaster Peschka, Steve $15 #7816/4586 [2 disks] is a graphing environment for Windows 3.1 that provides nine different graph types. You can easily add a legend to your graph, customize colors, and much more. Other features include an easy to use ToolBar for all main functions, context-sensitive HyperHelp, exploding pie chart options, and .WAV sound file support. Syntax for Windows Dialectic Systems, Inc. $69 #4837 lets you create on-line hypertext "magazines" from Word Perfect text files. Compiled documents can have integrated graphics, sticky notes, user-defined hypertext links, and more. This is a powerful tool for creating computerized training manuals, tutorials, newsletters and much more. Requires WordPerfect for DOS/Windows, VGA, and a mouse. WinCover 3.1 [WINCV31] 08-93 CD Haschka, Michael $23 #20163 [2 disks] prints very attractive and professional-looking fax cover sheets.
